We are excited to announce that there is a New line of Discover® LiFePO4 lithium batteries. These batteries were recently showed at the INTERSOLAR and ENERGY STORAGE NORTH AMERICA. Here are some new products that launched at the show.
Discover® Advanced Energy System
Discover® Advanced Energy System (AES) LiFePO4 lithium batteries offer bankable performance and the lowest cost of energy storage per kWh. AES LiFePO4 lithium batteries are manufactured with the highest-grade cells and feature a proprietary high peak surge and transient voltage hardened BMS that delivers superior peak power along with lightning fast 1C continuous charge and discharge rates. Unlike lead-acid batteries AES LiFePO4 lithium batteries can be continuously operated in a Partial State of Charge (PSOC) without degrading performance.
Discover HELIOS batteries
Discover HELIOS batteries are purpose-built for the replacement of 24V and 48V groupings of the popular GC-size lead-acid battery used in off-grid solar systems. Discover HELIOS batteries incorporate a proprietary high-current BMS that delivers superior peak power along with lightning-fast 1C continuous charge and discharge rates, and unlike lead-acid batteries, can be continuously operated in a partial state of charge (PSOC) without degrading performance. Discover HELIOS features COLD CHARGE functionality, allowing cold temperature charging to begin from -20⁰C / -4⁰F.
Discover ELEMENT Energy Storage System
Discover ELEMENT Energy Storage System (ESS) 19” rack-mount batteries are the newest addition to the Discover Battery lineup. Our new ESS carries the UL9540A mark and is scalable to 100 kWh per bank. Continuing from our AES range, ELEMENT’s 5kWh modules remain capable of 1C continuous charge/discharge and closed-loop compatibility with major power electronics platforms through the LYNK Communications Gateway.
The ELEMENT modules can be housed in either of our indoor or outdoor-rated (NEMA 3R) cabinet solutions that include an integrated busbar for reduced install times. The ELEMENT ESS system offers solar installers and integrators maximum design flexibility with minimum complexity for residential on/off-grid, small commercial and micro-grid applications.
LYNK II Communication Gateway
LYNK II Communication Gateway aggregates and displays in real-time the State-of-Charge for Discover HELIOS and AES LiFePO4 batteries. Unlock the full potential of these lithium batteries by enabling them to optimize the charging configurations of the world’s best off-grid inverter-chargers and solar charge controllers. Turn a good solar system into a great one with up to 25% improvement in 0% to 100% SoC recharging time. Remotely monitor SoC and data log multiple sites using the data monitoring services offered by off-grid inverter systems.
The ELEMENT will be available in the June of 2022.
