Bradley Paton of Power Plus Energy (PPE) joined the SEIA Vic conference last week to talk about the advantages of their self-managed products in the energy storage market. Based on cylindrical lithium ferrous phosphate (LFP) cells the PPE product operates over much broader temperature ranges versus pouch or prismatic versions of LFP.
Self-managed batteries reduce the complexity while increasing the reliability of off-grid systems and more reliability means less call-outs and improved customer experience. Coupled with PPE’s incorporation of slim line Amphenol connectors and two pole DC circuit breakers you save time and money on installation. The PPE batteries and racking have been designed specifically with feedback from Australia’s best off-grid installer/designers.
